Plug

A plug is the male component of a connector system designed to be inserted into and make a connection with the corresponding female receptacle. Plugs typically contain pins, prongs, or blades that align with and mate securely with the sockets or contacts in the receptacle. They facilitate the transfer of electrical signals, data, or power between devices or cables, enabling communication or power distribution in various electronic and electrical systems.
